  They are completely unreliable and unprofessional.
  
  After a local survey and quote I booked Downs Energy for a cavity wall insulation installation on a house we are renovating.
  
  I made it very clear at the time of booking that it needed to be completed inline with the rest of the building project and we arranged 18th September, 2 weeks after the survey.
  
  The day before they rang to cancel as the installer had phoned in sick. When I called to rearrange they had no available dates for several weeks. Instead of rescheduling the to slot in the cancel jobs in earlier they just tagged us onto the end. I explain that the new date, 27th October, was the day the house was being rendered and this was really inconvenient. I was told we would be the first job of the day.
  
  5 working hours before they were due to come out they rang to cancel again. This time the van was broken. They have no other vans that can be used and no idea when they will be able to reschedule.
  
  So 6 weeks after the original date that they were supposed to install it I am now having to cancel the rendering and find an alternative supplier to do what Is a really simple job.
